Fun-Dation Translucent Non-Woven 22" Wide 30 Yards -- Fun-dation is a nonwoven foundation piecing medium designed especially for the Foundation Piecing quilter. Fun-dation is lightweight translucent tear-away material with several distinct advantages over the standard paper tissue paper or muslin foundation: Fun-dation is translucent so the quilter can see through to the fabric layers for easier positioning with less flipping back & forth to see the foundation side. Fun-dation is designed for the sewing machine needle...papers will dull the needle. Fun-dation tears away when you want it to it does not tear prematurely like tissues. Fun-dation is a stable nonwoven so it will not stretch on the bias and crosswise direction as muslin does. The translucency also has great possibilities for machine applique. Fun-dation can easily be printed through standard printers or photocopy machines.
